Information We Collect
We collect account information such as name, email address, workspace details, billing details, and settings you choose in the product.
When teams run playtests, Userplay may capture session recordings, tester actions, feedback, console logs, network activity, device details, and related debugging context.
How We Use Information
We use information to provide Userplay, process playtest sessions, generate insights, support customers, secure the service, prevent abuse, and improve product quality.
We may use aggregated or de-identified information to understand usage patterns and improve the platform.
Playtest Participants
If you invite people to a playtest, you are responsible for giving them appropriate notice about what Userplay captures and why.
Teams can use privacy controls such as sensitive data blur, retention settings, and workspace permissions to reduce unnecessary exposure.
Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We may share information with service providers who help us host, secure, support, analyze, and operate Userplay.
We may disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.
Retention
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and support configured workspace retention settings.
Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
